African Heritage Month Gala 2026

We are so excited to host you at the Black Cultural Centre of Nova Scotia’s 2026 African Heritage Gala presented by RBC.

Here are the final few details as you get ready to join us:
Date & Time- Saturday, February 28, 2026 (5:00 PM-9:30 PM, followed by the dance)
Venue- Halifax Convention Centre (Ballroom Level)

Wine Pre-Order
We would like to invite you to pre-order wine for your table. Please follow the instructions HERE. ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY THURSDAY FREBRUARY 26, 2025 (5:00PM). Alternatively, you can order wine onsite.

Entry & Tickets
Entry will be through QR code on your ticket only so make sure to print or download your QR code to check in. If you have purchased multiple tickets, please make sure everyone in your party has their QR code.

Dietary Restrictions
To allow for a seamless experience for you and your guests, please share your guests’ names with us. The menu for the night is inspired by African Heritage and flavors. We will be serving a tomato soup with vegetables and chickpea, and Kuku Paka Curried braised Chicken, and Tiger nut, coconut pudding.

All dietary concerns must be emailed before Tuesday, February 24, at 5:00 PM if you haven’t already sent them.

Parking
Underground parking is conveniently located at the Halifax Convention Centre. In addition to the on-site paid parkade, there are several major paid parkades within close proximity the convention Centre. This is a SOLD-OUT event, so please allow yourself time to commute and find parking downtown.

Other Details
