Remembering Dr. King - 2009

On Thursday, January 15, 2009 the Black Cultural Society for Nova Scotia held: Remembering Dr. King, a celebration of the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Special educational mini lectures were presented to crowd of local school children from various Halifax Schools listed below:

Humber Park Elementary
Bell Park Academic Centre
Ross Road Elementary
Harbourview Elementary
John McNeil Elementary
Highland Park School
Oxford School

This years guest presenters were, Mr. Irvine Carvery, HRM School Board Chair and Mr. David Sparks, President of the MLK Project.
